Instructions a bit vague in places There is a point during assembly where the structure of the base is weak and can be damaged when moving the base around, its at the point where the rear and both sides are fixed nefore the front is fitted

The bed was easy to construct after you realised how the parts went together. Once finished and painted the bed looks great in the back of the van. I’ve just ordered a cupboard unit to match now as well.

Very well thought out piece of kit which can be adapted to suit the installation. It is also straight forward to put together after carefully reading the instructions.

This bed was easy to work out. I would open the instructions still, to ensure all parts are there and put into place. I was like James May and almost named all the panels I was that structured. Anyway, easy to work out how to put this together and it looks amazing once built. Took me 3-4 hours to do a section, but I was taking my time and doing other things. Well worth the money.

This bed is excellent. It's very convenient and well made. The instructions are clear. The team at camit were great at answering questions and helping us out. Would highly recommend.

really pleased with our Campervan bed it gives us so much versatility in the back of the van where we can have a bench seat or corner seat or double bed. To construct you have to follow the instructions carefully but once assembled ready to paint. Would definitely recommend.

I bought two of these beds to fit a LWB Ford Transit Custom to slide out and form one big full size bed. Having already assembled a kitchen pod these were faster having enlisted the help of my wife to help bang in the tiny raw plugs and the connecters. Each bed comes in two units and took around 3 hours each to assemble. The precision of the cuts is excellent which means the edges are very straight and clean, with a great final finish. As stated in another review the instructions are straightforward, but need to be followed carefully and the diagrams studied before screwing anything together. I did make a couple of mistakes but dismantling a part and starting again is very straightforward. All the necessary screws, brackets etc are supplied. I have been pleased with the final product and happy that I saved a lot of cash assembling it myself.

A well designed unit that comes in various sizes and finishes. I love the lift up option for storage, whilst still being able to pull out the sections so that you can have anything from a bench seat option, to a single bed and an almost full sized double bed too. I chose the birchwood ply rather than the MDF because I didn't fancy having green MDF supplied. The units come in flat packs with an awfully large number of pieces, and I would suggest you get an extra pair of hands to hold the pieces in place whilst you screw them together. The finished article looks lovely and is very strong and pretty heavy, but it fits great in my Mercedes Vito, and now allows me to have more room in the centre of the van, rather than how it used to be with a rock'n'roll bed. My only grumble would be to check the instructions you get with this, as the ones I was sent, did not make it clear how you fit the hinges, and had some errors in the drawings of some of the parts, as well as only showing you how to make the first unit, and forgetting that the second one is a mirror image of the first, so everything is drawn the wrong way round. For a space saving solution to those wanting a bed with storage, this really fits the bill.
